Mr Mustard. Are you a swing trader? If you are, are you a successful swing trader? If you answer yes. Then you are fully aware that much more research is involved in Swing trading than day trading. So that in itself make swing trading more complicated and by definition harder.
If you answered no and no. To be honest you can't say if one is harder than the other in all fairness. Can you?
