The word from Beach (eg from their many investor presentations) is that by getting in early in Tanzania, they have a better deal on product sharing with the Tanzanian government. More recently, the large French oil company TotalSA was granted a tenement ajoining Beach's.
Do you reckon the sovereign risk in Tanzania is worse than mess we have in Australia ?
