Australia has been given one of the world's strongest economic bills of health by a global ratings agency amid signs the current mining boom will dwarf seen before in this country.
The Moody's agency yesterday re affirmed it's triple A rating for Australia, saying the country was benefiting from low Government debt, a strong economy that would be resilient to any major shock and enjoying a range of strong sectors.
The agency said there was a range of factors to underpin it's decision. "As one of the world's most advanced economies, the country has not only a significant natural resource sector-including minerals, hydrocarbons and agriculture-but also manufacturing and service sectors," the report said.
