Goodman Group (ASX:GMG) chief executive Greg Goodman’s told Fairfax there will be an acceleration of online retailing over the next five to 10 years.
He says bricks and mortar retailers and their online counterparts, like Amazon.com, are driving demand for distribution warehouses.
Goodman’s set to build $600 million worth of warehouses in Europe, Asia and Australia over the next two years for internet retailers.
In the 2011 financial year Goodman posted a net profit of $453 million.
