I don't think the phone app is a replacement for the wheezometer. I could speculate or guess on a number of interesting ways a phone app and the wheezometer could work together.

I understand other medical device companies have been pursuing use of phone app with development of their respective equipment. This approach is the current or in progress state of the art.

IMO It's a good thing that iSonea is pursuing or copying this path.
