after alot of stuffing around, ive sorted the issue.
Cant exactly put a finger on what exactly I did to resolve the issue, but does it really matter.
For anyone interested, I
* updated the firmware on the router * reset the router back to defaults * removed any sort of password protection * connected a device directly to the modem by passing the router
anyway, something triggered it. I reckon there was a corrupt file somewhere, as a few pages were starting to have issues on my wife's mac too..
