All a little odd. They could have got that holding much cheaper with a little patience.
Two possibilities I suppose:
a) Deliberate pumping of the sp... Perhaps they need a bigger market cap to meet a finance requirement??? Surely not for a cap raising, that would be hard to show was in the interests of TRF holders.
b) They are getting in quick before the finance deal causes the sp to go ballistic.... (In my dreams)
