The big companies they are currently collaborating with have now studied their wares for over a year yet not one is rushing to lock up an exclusive deal or buy the company, makes you wonder. I noticed that some other companies have had success with peptides derived from human breast milk, and some with engineered, stapled peptides. I cant help but feel that our strength is the scanning technology to test the library, but our weakness is that these millions of diverse peptides were never originally derived from the human body or compounds used and processed by the human body, and as such without being modified they are not a golden bullet on their own. One issue they have idebtified is extending the half life of yhe peptides in use with one collaboration, i wonder how many other issues need further collaborations with research houses rather than end users/ pharmas. With Roche i believe they found " several" peptides of "interest" from the apparently billions in the libraries. I think our best outcome for the next year will be a couple of jumps on announcements but realistically will just become s cash sustainable research laboritory at least for a while. If no golden bullets are found at latter stages of these collaborations then we might see intetest really start to fall off.
