Funny thing there Fox in 2007 I bought a semi for $140k in the outer suburbs of Adelaide - just rented again before Christmas for $240 p/w. Reality is it won't drop to $70k as per your example - I very much doubt no matter how bad it gets it will go below $100k!
So yep it is a happy new year and no brave face required reality is more than fine!
