    Re your post which included;
    "... i do not think the consitution is outdated ..." and
    "... nice to see your honest about gillard ..."

    Our constitution was developed in the late 19th Century, after the Gold Rushes, during a time of denial of the rights of our Aborigines & rampant xenophobic racism, before WW1 & in the context of Australia as an English colony.

    At the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 Australia was afforded full nationhood courtesy of its role in WW1 - making us a sovereign nation behoven to no other. Consequently our constitution is a fraud [you can download the document, 'Australia The Concealed Colony', from the website below].

    Australia today bears almost no resemblance to that of 1901 yet we labor under an archaic, ill-formed, colonial constitution.

    As for my comments on Julia Gillard & Tony Abbott; they have not changed since their performance has remained the same. Gillard ranks poorly in my estimation and Abbott rates even worse.
