Completely agree, I don't think 2011 has been a great year on paper for many L/T investors in our market.
When comparing some of the major European and US market index to the Australian over the past 12 months one would think Australia is the one with the serious debt problem... it's crazy
With regards to PIE I'd encourage any Sydney holders here who might be concerned with pie's future direction to try and make it to the Broadband and Beyond 2012 conference which EWOB has already kindly highlighted in this thread.
The list of speakers representing the Communications Alliance should really be enough alone to add some further confidence moving forward into 2012:
Selina Lo - President and CEO, Ruckus Wireless David Thodey - CEO, Telstra Justin Milne - Chairman, pieNETWORKS Matthew Barr - Head of Market Development, Mastercard Peter Bourke - Chief Information Officer, Westfield Holdings Iarla Flynn - Head of Public Policy and Government Affairs, Google Michael Malone - Chief Executive Officer, iiNet Peter Rossi - Chief Technology Officer, Huawei Tony Malligeorgos - VP Sales and Marketing, Ericsson Mark Scott - Managing Director, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC)
Mr Milne will be discussing the topic of "Converging Content" between 11.20 and 1.00pm.
"A seamless connected environment changes the way we interact with content. How will triple-play and multiplatform delivery impact how we view sport, movies, and news? How will TV, radio, and the internet adapt to on demand viewing?"
