    The thing is Johnny because it is a % it is a relative term. In your example yeah $100k is allot of money - but that is also dependent on how much you have got/haven't got wealth wise. I consider +/- 20% normal investment variance. Now if we have a relatively quick loss of wealth of 40/50% then that would be a crash IMHO.
