    I agree that if there is no added benefit by paying 25 per annum the only thing it would do anything is reduce the number of users and therfore kill the advertising

    I think fees could be generated from IPO access , but think the advertising is the biggest opportuinity

    Was actually thinking of advertising my own web ladies lingerie business on hotcopper but wasnt sure of the cost

    If Hotcopper had a no advice broking license , it would be great to see more offers for IPO , or underwritings of share placements etc and then an exclusive part of the web site could provide email offers on lots of the IPOs and share underwtring of shortfall rights issues and placements for people accepting that it was a no advice offer to premium members of hot copper , and that would be worth at least $25 per annum

    I am happy to pay a broker , when I could easily pay discount brokerage so to pay hot copper , i would need to feel that it was a win win premium service
