    They may be queueing for gold but if they're smart they'll be buying USD. If you read my post, after Dec 20, you can buy gold in Iran but there's no delivery for 4 months.

    Who'd go along with that?

    Maybe this accounts for the USD spiralling higher, the Siamese Parrot squawking the other day that the USD index was a double top and it was all over.

    I think that the USD will approach 1:1 with the Euro, bad news for gold if it does.
