Why bother conducting such an inconclusive experiment ? May be sunlight can escape from the brown paper bag.

Far easier to wind the clock back and forth to "save daylight".

I just noticed an error in your thinking. It is "daylight saving", not saving sun light. Some difference there :-)

By the way, I am NOT in favor of daylight saving. It doesn't give me any extra leisure time. I don't like coming home from work and the sun is still out there and that makes me feel hot, I hate the heat. Winter and cold are my favorites.
