LOL theoretically Manus01 its possible to do that. In reality though greed will prevail and some will sell under the 42cent threshold you mention. Whether the buyers could be drawn in suddenly to that extent is also unlikely. Questions would be asked by the ASX lol.
But theres no doubt, if sellers demanded a higher price the buyers would start to nibble a bit higher lol. Of course also we have potential shortsellers who would start selling borrowed shares like crazy thinking they can cause a panic and then buy back a lot cheaper. Love your obvious tongue in cheek suggestion lol.
