Hi Crazybull, everyone invests the way they believe is best for them. I could never do technical analysis I am not methodical and patient enough. I enjoy learning things and skimming through information. I bought AGS at 15 cents, I was concious it could go lower but thought it represented good buying at that price and I would be gambling it wouldnt shoot up by not buying then. You say one mistake and its curtains? I think not at 15 cents while anything is possible it is one of a number of investments, bar a catastrophe I should have some capital left. Catastrophes can be fall all investments.
What about painting the tape? that most be 100 years old now.
I think an investor never knows as much as they need to, there is always guesses, calculated risk taking. I dont know what Heathgate thinks or plans. Buying out AGS makes a lot of sense to me but I cant see them getting a bargain. The price may discourage this option.
I am overweight in AGS I still have shares I bought in 2008. I think it worthwhile to hold for another month or so.
