I seem to remember plenty of outrage in the media, etc at some of the pronouncements of the mad mufti, bin Hilaly. Women like catmeat, violence against the West, etc. In fact he went to court more than once as I remember.
He was one, extreme example, of few. Making inflammatory, ridiculous statements like "hatefull [sic] sermons dished out every day in mosques around the country" just lowers us to the same level.
