Don't forget that the Bolly Bands are created BY the price....

They are created after the fact, and based on the price according to John Bollinger's formula.

So they WILL track the price closely. Occasionally a stock will stray outside the Bolly Bands for a bar or maybe two, but in general, they will track inside the bands almost by definition.

So, your comment about PDN tracking the Bolly Bands is actually the wrong way round - the bands track the price.

But when the bands squeeze together, a fairly sudden move becomes more likely. And the longer the bands are squeezed, the more likely the move is to be sudden and quite violent.

I suspect that PDN may take a biggish run upwards over the next few weeks... just my 2c worth ;)
