the state used to run the power supply. i dont recall all that many problems. the main trouble started when they started to divide and sell off the power.
doesnt matter who the govt was, they all said that with privatisation prices would be cheaper. was all lies and i said so at the time but people tend to believe what the govt tells them - especially if they are red
