I spoke to Peter Shou MD last Friday - according to him unfortunately there will be no further news until after the Chinese New Year.

Much to his chagrin, Peter said it appears everyone in China has started celebrating early. He then went on to say that what is making it even more difficult time wise is that Laos does not celebrate the New Year at the same time China does - but will hold its festivities after the Chinese are back at work.

For now ORD will be putting out a quaterly in due course and are doing their utmost in getting the necessary permits MAPA or MAPRA what ever that stands for (Peter was unsure) from the Laos government.
