What a pile of bunkum from that commentator.
It is an injunction not a decision. And since when do provincial courts precede or influence the powers of national courts. IMO, the injunction was probably given with a wink wink nudge nudge from the Zambo del Norte board anyway. I suggest the injunction is probably not positive for Tampakan, because it will allow TVI move slowly with dealing with the legitamacy of the Canatuan operation.
Continue to believe the guff in those articles at your own peril. As I've pointed out some months back - the Supreme Court has already given opinion in 2005 that provincial governments can't override national laws. But as this sour puss has continually maintained - the Tampakan issue has no political mileage and the Pres is unlikely to intervene to do anything about it. Whether or not the project will increase the nation's wealth is irrelevant when the country is run by the Catholic Church that wants to keep everyone poor.
