Well for starters to invest in property you need a couple of hundred k ++ laying around whereas in the stock market you can invest with as little as 500 bucks. Unless of course people are borrowing to invest which I believe just like buying a lottery ticket with next years pay cheque. If you don't have the cash, just forget it!
