Snookerque: I agree that 80c is too low, but I am simply taking the upper figure for valuations from about four brokers. These estimations as I have said before, are 'stabs in the dark', and are by their nature cautious. I was trying to pick a realistic figure at which take-overs are less likely.

Take-overs can always occur, but are more likely with a weak share price. The recent purchase of Exco gave a possible figure that some-one is prepared to pay. One always has to take into account the 518 million shares in Altona when working out the value of one single share.

You are right, I am hoping for something much bigger than 80c, but we are dealing with the share-market.
