Great investigating Aventurine. Not sure what it means but is interesting on the face of it. And ironic! I mean the story really was that CCC had superior access to funding to develop these projects. Now it appears that Mashalla was actually controlled by ABSA who may well now provide CCC with funding that enables them to complete the transaction. I agree with you that the up front fees will be interesting.

I don't follow CCC much these days. The $200m for Dewitt put me off completely. That makes no sense at all to me, even with some savings, given where you can buy listed assets (and private even cheaper I guess). The whole thing is so bizarre I can't help but keep an eye on it though. I mean didn't JB say many months ago now that Bots results out next week. He just seems to say whatever he wants.

If there's a positive side that sort of false leakage seems to have stopped now so they may be able to positively surprise at some point. For instance, an extension of Ferriera would be great, especially when you see what new mines cost.
