MHM has been busy with the Geelong plant upgrade, seeking the first US site, securing US supply contracts, finalise AL80...etc.
I guess when they complete most of the above in the coming months we should see the SPL news. At this stage it's not the main focus of MHM, and no matter what happen to the SPL tech. (proven or not proven) it's not going to affect anything, but if we receive any positive announcement then its not hard to imagine what would it do to our share price :)


They may not need to build a new plant (pilot plant) for SPL, imo. They can just use the Geelong plant as their pilot plant for SPL, and remember 5 years later after Alcoa landfill that they only have about 24,000t of processing materials from Alcoa and Sims, so for full cap. of 60,000tpa
the SPL 38,000tpa produced in Australia can fill that gap. I'm thinking that they may start to run the SPL on Geelong plant while they still process the landfill salt slag (if the SPL is ready)
