Spent the weekend looking at units out Penrith way (Western Sydney) between 200k and 300k and was shocked by the high strata fees for basic no pool, no lift units.
Strata fees were between 500 and 700 a quarter. I have a unit in ashfield (sydney inner west) and the strata is only 500 odd a quarter.
Strata fees alone out in Penrith make Unit investment dubious in current environment.
Any feedback re strata fees in other areas around syd?
