Hello El Capo, ARD quote the recovered metals as 20.8 Moz Ag, 33,600 oz Au, 25,500 tonnes Pb and 82,800 tonnes Zn. At todays metal prices and A$ exchange rate these metals have a value of A$940 million. If Ag were $75 per Oz then their value rises to A$1,785 million.
Assuming Operating Costs (mining, metallurgy, freight, refining, admin) of $460 million, and Capex of 200 million raised by equity ($100 million by sale of 500,000 million shares at 20 cents) and loan ($100 million at 8%) gives a potential pre tax and pre royalty profit of $310 million (1,150 million at 75$ silver).
There is not information in the public domain to calculate accurate Operating Costs, especially metallurgical costs, so the figures given are broad estimates only and may not reflect actual costs. Similarly estimated Capex makes several very broad assumptions which may be entirely wrong.
