eating humble pie in front of an angry wife.

Back on the 7th december 2010, I wrote down a list of stocks and where I thought the share price would be in 12 months time (December 2011).

I then forgot about the list, until my loving wife found it over the weekend. Our beloved GNI, now GXN was on the list.

Please dont laugh but i had written down that GNI would be at 6.5c by December 2011. My wife then asked what the current price was and little to say, the 1c share price did not leave her very impressed.

From memory, the SP was around 4c at the time.

My wife asked what went wrong, who is running this company, how can the shareprice decline by 75%?

The only information that appeased her anger towards our loss making investment was that they got rid of the "man" running the show and a woman is now in charge.

GXN, 2012 better be the year or else I might end up on the couch!

Lesson learnt = use stop losses on these speculative stocks and don"t fall in love with the story!
