Aztec71, I have just returned from a couple of weeks in Bali where even the friendly and tourist tolerant Balinese people are far more racist than the average Australian.
The Balinese vendors didn't realise that I speak Indonesian and could understand the extremely sexist and racist remarks being made about Australians and Australian women in particular. One poor fella got to find out that I knew what he was saying, but he shouldn't have made that comment about my girlfriend.
Balinese people are generally very nice BUT! how would it be seen if in our country there was a cheaper price for goods & services if you're of Australian decent as opposed to foreign?
