Some good comments on the behaviour of silver (& gold) prices in the festive season have been made. Peter Brimelow :" Most goldbugs were drowning their sorrows over Xmas. This was the reverse of what was supposed to happen.. The gold price has gone up between Xmas & New Year in eight of the last nine years." Jesse's Cafe:".....one has to be naive to ignore the blatant bombing of the market with contracts during thinly traded markets." Veneroso in LeMetropole cafe;".....we are seeing a bunch of traders trying to break a multi year trend line in gold during the thinnest trading of the year." He believed that the price of gold would rise after the (2011)end of year games were finished.
