The Fin Review had a story about the high savings of Aussies now. I think it is the highest since the early 90's when things got pear shaped.
But the thing is: if you consider inflation and what those savings would buy now as opposed to the early '90s, well, then our savings rates aren't gonna do much now - they ain't gonna help much.
