Not a good year for insurance considering all the disasters that occurred previously... But how low will this go?
So earings are to be around 60 cents a share but next years earnings are expected to bounce and be around 130 cents a share.
At current SP, its p/e based on the two figures are above are...
1141/60 = 19.0... (That's Woodside crazy!!!)
1141/130 = 8.7... (That's a bargain!!!)
I personally think that anything around the current price is of great value, epecially if you understand that shares are generally forward-priced. Of course, they will need to meet their expectations!
I will wait for the SP to stablise but this could be a great entry point into a fantastic share (and I certainly wouldn't be selling).
