Hi Nice one
Pretty scary stuff, hopefully they will find other / better jobs.
We have recently decided that my wife will resign from work and spend 100% of time with our son. In this respect, we are comfortable in life but you never know. We have planned that she will spend 2 days a week doing a lot of the admin work in our business but have the flexibility to be a mum too!
The business is doing well but I have just landed a part time job on the basis that you can't have all eggs in one basket. Our is a discretionary business...just in case.
Also, good to get out of the house and broaden my world a bit. You have to change ahead of the need to change.
Things may get tougher but you have to be flexible, have a plan B and then maybe a C too. A $ we earn now, if we keep it may be worth more if we need it in the future.
I hate seeing people let go in the jobs
all the best
