Take the kids to the penguins on Philip Island. Don't buy the exclusive seat tickets though. Get there early and buy general admission tickets and find a posie closest to either rope corner closest to the beach for the Penguin parade. Watch out for the seal colony telescope Cafe prior to going to see the Penguins, 1 bottle of Mount Frankin water will set you back $5 and an ice-cream a little less. Fantastic experience non-the-less.
