My definition of a 'top 10' company is one that:
1) Is resiliant in face of global slump.
2) Has strong working cashflow.
3) Regular (rather than lumpy) income stream.
4) Low debt.
5) Has an X-factor. e.g. X-factor for WOW is its long established dominance of supermarket/booze/petrol retailing in Oz.
Then keep yr list with a targetted PE price and wait and wait. It's quite likely a crash will see even the best compiens slump.
