News: Echo replaces MD of The Star

    Echo Entertainment Group Ltd (ASX:EGP) has announced that Frederic Luvisutto has been appointed managing director of The Star, formerly known as the Star City Casino.



    He replaces Sid Vaikunta who has left the company because of “his behaviour in a social work setting” according to a statement by CEO Larry Mullin.



    Mr Luvisutto joined Echo Entertainment in May last year as managing director of Jupiters Gold Coast. He has previously held the position of vice president hotel operations at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.





    Echo reported a net profit of $226 million for the financial year to June 30, 2011.
