It does look favorite that State owned Jindal Steel, after abandoning projects in the El Muhuna mountains last November, will move to take a big stake in Republic Gold/ Amayapampa.
A government agreement where Jindal Steel take a majority stake in the project, maybe 70%, could lead to a big issue of shares in Republic Gold to Jindal at no cost.
In return Jindal would give security to the project in raising funds stated as being about US$130 million. After all, RAU have no hope of raising funds and it would advantage both Bolivia's Government, people around Amayapampa and the shareholders of Republic.
