GENERAL: VCT: Commerce Commission delay regulatory period for pipeline

Commerce Commission delay regulatory period for gas pipeline businesses

Vector acknowledges the release of the Commerce Commission's draft decision
to delay the commencement date for the initial default price-quality path for

suppliers of gas distribution and gas transmission services.

The Commerce Commission has indicated that it may delay the start of the
regulatory period, which was previously scheduled to start July 2012. The
current draft suggests the regulatory period will start sometime after the
Default
Price Path Input Methodologies are developed, but no later than 1 October
2013.
