There is some correlation between world markets of course. The US has 3 major Indexs that you should be looking at, not just the DOW. Look at earnings in various markets, they are vastly different!
Anyone that says they know where the market is heading this year is just a liar!! It could realistically be anywhere between 3000 and 5000.
