Even if GNS pull a miracle JV fairy out of the hat, all their management has done for the last 5 years is take successful mills from other companies and drive them into the ground with debt.
What hope do they possibily have of successfully operating a pulp mill when despite 100 yrs of owning sawmills they have made such a balls up of that business?
That would be the question I would be asking if I were a potential JV. Not just about whether the project is viable (which at the moment would be questionable) but whether the partner has any capacity to successfully manage it: their track record says no.
