Good topic WOS. A few weeks ago I posted: "If the Cvac IIb trial results are positive, at its current SP, PRR would be a sitting duck imo."

Since then 5 weeks have passed and PRR have made what I consider to be their most significant announcement in years, perhaps only equaled by the company saving management changes and funding arrangements 3 or 4 years ago.

And what’s happened to the SP. Absolutely nothing!

I know that IIb interim results won't appear for a while and phase III is 3 years away. But I don't think at this point too many have a negative view of the likely efficacy of Cvac. Certainly everything you can find on patient forums is positive, and investors fell over each other in the scramble to oversubscribe the last capital raising.

So why has the share price stagnated? My observation of the daily trading trends leaves me very concerned about the motives for what we see occuring. Why?

If it was to accumulate stock, I would expect higher volumes and surely a substantial holder statement by now.

Is it just to make thousands of small gains. Possibly.

Or might it be a potential suitor, attempting to keep the price down until IIb interims are published. At that point the predator could attempt to attract suckers with an undervalued bid.

There are big stakes here. The 'patent cliff' we hear about so often is a reality. In recent times, large pharmaceutical companies have been paying big money for prospective treatments, including from what I've read, some still in phase II. And compared to the Provenge 'pap' antigen, PRR's mucin-1 is expressed by a wider range of cancer types, so, subect to trials, the long term potential value of PRR could be greater than DNDN imo.

So if the Cvac trial results continue to be positive, I see very little chance of PRR not attracting predators. The further down the track that is, the better off we will all be. But the trading trends we see, make me think that regrettably it might be closer than many think.

    Interesting times ahead!

    Good luck all (prrimates). Herro
