    Hi Manny

I read Fred Hoyle many years ago and his calculations of the odds against correct sequences of amino acids was impressive. Something like 1 in 10 to the power of 120, a pretty big number. It didn't make me a creationist, as I tend to not accept anything as the last word on anything, but did make me think of the improbability factor.

Interesting point about the invention of all sorts of weird and wonderful scenarios to do with the universe all to avoid one question.

Another interesting bloke is Michael Cremo, a Vedic scholar and what might be termed a 'hindu creationist". He points out lots of anomalies that don't fit in the standard story.

    cheers
