Of course a take-over is a possibility but far greater value would be met the longer PRR remains holding the reigns.

As for $3 not a chance until further down the track imo & even the $1.20 you listed as an insult i think is still in the field of deams at this stage. While big pharmaceutical companies will pay premiums when the time is right not the kind of premiums of these figues (2000% not a chance) & $1.20 with +1000% a very unlikely outcome on a drug that is still along way from being both proven & cash flow positive. You only have to look at the figures of aquisitions over the last 2 years to get a baseline of reality with avg - around 70-80% premium & then ground breaking "monster deals" 200-400% premium.

Weather it is what people want to see/hear or not the reality is if big pharma put up an offer at 100% premium right now (32c) they would probably atleast grab a significant stake in the company - probably not gain control based on the loyal holders - how many people really do you think would say no to a 100% offer above yesterdays price ? It would atleast probably push the sp. higher on speculation that the offer would raise over time but really would likely take majority ownership with a price still under $1 at this stage - $1B for a drug that is still yet to commence let alone complete PhaseIII trials is a significant sum for a company to put up for an asset that is not yet guaranteed to return anything - it's why many large pharmaceutical companies have moved back to deals & milestone agreements to lock positions in place with out the obligation to pay a large sum upfront & avoid the inherent risk.

It's all time, patience & success if you want to see the large sums in dollar realms - unless you are happy with a sum that reflects the stage it is currently at i wouldn't be getting to excited about take-overs the more it progresses the more value it builds with succesful outcomes.
