    Ausheds,

There would be virtually no difference in the treatment path at the LAMP for concentrate from either Duncan or CLD, there is pretty much zero difference between Xenotime or Churchite as host minerals ( One is a hydrated phosphate, the other is not hydrated).

Once everything hits the sulphuric acid leach (First stage of LAMP) then it's all the same. There are advantages to parallel lines in plants, and there are disadvantages. The main thing that is to be avoided in complex SX plants like the LAMP is constant stop/start cycling. Provided there is enough surge capacity between the stages then this is easily managed.

One of the key things you find out about a new plant in its first year or so is what needs to be bigger. They'll learn good things in the first year that they will be able to apply to their upgrade, but they shouldn't blindly rush into the Stage 2 upgrade without some good operating knowledge of the First Stage's performance.
