The AFR today carries an update on the fate of the two latest Government Solar initiatives to have received funding. You know the ones that EVM didn't get a look-in and that Roger gets hot and agitated about. (Just like the low emission demonstrator fund before that). Well it seems that despite the government backing, neither has been able to stitch up either a PPA or any additional funding.
Neither of these projects involved any particularly ground breaking technologies and meanwhile EVM, the redheaded stepchild of Australian solar innovation is kicking goals in the USA.
