Financing definitely an issue.
And an announcement would have to be imminent - given funding will run out within 6 months.
Question remains whether to go back to existing shareholder base or what other options are out there.
Depressingly for most [non-blue chip] stocks, the options are very much limited and the traders know it.
Present a (seemingly) generous offer of a 20% discount on the last 10 day vwap [or whatever], and you can guarantee that it won't be the long term shareholders who benefit from the discount.... before you know it, the stock will be trading at [or below] the 10 day vwap.
This is a dilemma for all small cap stocks right now, [in my opinion].
Everyone is scared to death of debt - and banks would rather lend to anyone before private enterprise right now, so small and medium enterprises right now are up against it.
So, you have a few choices as an investor in such stocks:
1/. get out
2/. stay in [but stop looking at the daily fluctuations]
3/. day trade - if you know how.
At the end of the day, your guess is as good as mine.
It ain't easy.... and it's true that the individual investor [that's me], is chicken fodder for the Goldman Sachs etc of this world, so protecting one's capital is as important as profiteering in this industry right now.
