re: why the weather/warragamba catchment
Had a look at the radar on the BOM site.Warragamba catchment is currently getting good moderate falls.Hopefully this will translate to much better storage percentages.Government still needs to continue work on further initiatives for water conservation and have a real think about storage closer to the coastal margins which receive much more rainfall in drought times.Whole reason Warragamba doesnt benefit from coastal rain is because its catchment sits on the southern highlands which has experienced semi drought conditions for a while.
