********A "Publisher" is "not" an Advertiser ***********

    Oh dear smuggler ...

It seems, you still do NOT understand the differentiation between a "publisher" & an advertiser. You do have a long way to go, I'm afraid.

    You wrote, only today.....

    you have absolutely NO idea.

A "publisher" as defined by Hills......

    is an "advertiser"

If you could just empty that brain and think about that and its implications.

You are making yourself look more and more stupid!!!

    ---------------------------------------------

Publishers, (particularly the printmedia OFF-line) are clamoring to have representation online through as many 'shopfront' opportunites as is logistically possible. The THREE mentioned below (shown in Looksmart's, not as yet released, new Vertical) will have both existing & some additional 'contextual', or/and Adsence type ADS placed, according to the relevancy of an article, current or, from their archives. When 'clicked' on, from a Looksmart Vertical, these will then generate additional revenues, for Looksmart. Now, does that explain your "zero" understanding of Verticals and revenue generation, pertaining to them??

An approximate increase of 7% in this years advertising 'spend' is attributed as going to this influx of online publishing, that is really galloping fast, at this stage.

Lots of 'bolt on' (other type) deals, from Looksmart's COMPLETE package offered to publishers, seem a formality, for these Media Co's, in due course. (Such as, the 'Private' labeling of Furl.Net, etc)

Publications: Boston Herald - Chicago Sun-Times - Saturday Evening Post

All of the above three are shown here (below) in Looksmart's new Verticle & will also have exposure in FindArticles plus 'seach' in Furl results, accordingly. Bloggers, (along with those 22 Million current 'users') will provide many 'clicks' daily, one can only suspect.

This link may also help you understand things a little more. Now, say ..... Thanks Ross !!
