You are probably right, certainly I don't need all the
extra stuff that comes with the Software that I've looked
at, as I am more than happy with my current charting
software.
The portfolio manager module of my software doesn't
explicitly cater for CFD trading, so I was just interested
in what other people were using, if it was commercial
software or just excel (spreadsheets).
The developer of my software (Insight Trader) has now
advised me of a way that I can enter CFD short sales in
Portfolio manager, and it seems to work pretty well ( I
still have to keep stock borrowing costs and interest on a
separate spreadsheet).
I'd still be interested to hear from anyone that uses
software such as Otrader or Stator.
